The weekend has come and gone.
Due to poor weather conditions, i have to give up my bondi to bronte walk this week.
We went to the cinema again instead. This time, we chose the movie slumdog millionaire.
It's realli goooood! great story set in a v colourful but not so glam side of india. think it really tells a lot about the life of the poor people there. Makes me count my blessings being here and living my little dream...thank God!
Since i'm too tired to blog much words after my run to mrs macquarie's chair from the house and walk back again from city to house, i'll make do with pictures for this post. hee...pardon my laziness.
It's picture time again:

takes a lot of effort to keep updating the blog...but good progress, i'm back to post more pictures.
And so for the aussie long weekend, we finally stayed in Echo's place after talking about it for so long. These 2 giraffes were found in the rooms of Echo's hsemate to Yap's delight...she was so enthralled by the 2 creatures that she had to take multiple pics of them. There were 2 gigantic bears as well which were like "WoW" big in the house and so huggable.
The "Reunion" dinner between Sydney and Melbourne kids on Chu2 Xi1 itself. We were all preparing to lou hei and had a good lot of other dishes fit for a reunion dinner of this size. Only thing was, i was too busy following the tennis match on tv that night b/w Dokic and Kleybanova to notice the tastiness of the food on the table :P
A picture taken at Hisense arena where I watched the tennis open the second time around...except that we were not that lucky enough to catch big shot players like Nadal, Federer, Williams or Jankovich unlike last year. This is also the Vodafone arena last year.
Since we're in Melbourne...how can we forget to spend some time exploring the arts here! We knew Wicked! (a Broadway musical) will be playing in Regent Theatre in Mel and planned way before to get tickets to the show and it definitely was worth every cent paid. The cast was amazing and a very elaborate theatre setting just sets the stage to capture the audience's imagination. During intermission, we went out to get the "ozmopolitan" drink which suits the emerald theme and has a stem which changes color...how cool is that?
